Overview
Travel into northeastern Uganda on this 5 day safari combining rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with wildlife, landscapes and a cultural experience in Kidepo Valley National Park.
Begin the journey north from Entebbe or Kampala with an overnight stay at Ziwa, where you will join a ranger guided walk in search of white rhinos. Continue through northern Uganda and into the Karamoja region before reaching the remote landscapes of Kidepo Valley National Park.
Spend two full days exploring Kidepo, including game drives through the Narus Valley and other areas of the park. Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and some of the wildlife species for which Kidepo is particularly known.
The itinerary also includes a guided Karamojong cultural experience, providing an introduction to local traditions and community life.
